Hogyan telik a július negyedike?

A Függellenség Napja nem úgy telik, szerencsére, ahogy a híres filmben látjuk.

Összeszedtem jó néhány autentikus véleményt erről az általában három-négy napos hosszú hétvégéről. Egy biztos, büszkén telik, olyan fajta kellemes nemzeti büszkeséggel, ami nem összekeverendő a nacionalista szélsőséges érzelmekkel (legalábbis a többségnél). Az amerikai hadsereg ázsiója pedig igen magas. Mondhatnánk, Amerikaspecifikus, ennek elsősorban az az oka, hogy szinte minden ameikainak van olyan nagyapja, dédapja, ükapja, aki valahol valamikor harcolt az országért.
Természetesen az Obamarezsim is kapott jó pár negatív kommentet, ahogy az ilyen nemzeti napokon lenni szokott, előkerülnek a politikai nézetek is.

A kérdés az volt, hogy ki mit csinál  július negyedikén és a hozzá kapcsolódó hosszabb pihenőidőben. Nem mindenkinek sikerült válaszolni a kérdésre, az 548 kommentből kiválasztottam néhányat a jellemzőbbek közül.

We need to all come together, remembering what this day stands for, and how all the lives lost to bring us the freedom to celebrate this day is monumentally being destroyed. We need to all come together, Stand and Fight for Our Rights, and for the Constitution of The United States of America. Staying home and out of traffic!!!!!! I'm staying at home husband has to work. Besides it's going to rain.  Talking a little treason.... Chillin and probably cooking out  Re-modeling the kitchen.. and bbq and thanking ourselves and friends and family for our service in the military.  Boating :-) We as a large family will celebrate our freedom .in memory of my dad and my grandson following behind him go navy strong celebrating my birthday!  Very PROUD :)  Like every other day I'm for taking a nap with my dog.  Clambake and fireworks@@ that's if it doesn't rain! going to clean + sober bbq (:  buying American made products and flying my flag proudly not that i dont fly it every day but this day it will be even more proudly We are at a bluegrass festival today and hearing and playing lots of good stuff We are going to a BBQ at a friend's house. Happy 4th to you guys. Eagles are the most beautiful birds.
